Mind-Body Counselling

What Is Mind-Body Counselling

Our physical illness is a mirror of our mental tapestry. You can consciously repaint your tapestry and see the beauty in your physical reflection.

In leading-edge scientific research, we have concluded that there is a direct correlation between our mental STRESS and our physical illnesses. We know what we think can directly influence/impact our physical health.

However, the generic term ‘Stress’ is a motherhood statement that does not specifically help us identify the direct pathway between our exact thoughts and various organs in our bodies.

Thankfully in recent years a new evolving scientific field, called Psych-Neuro-Immunology, has been making a headway providing valuable insights into a road map between our specific thoughts and the resonating/corresponding area of our bodies.

The concept of mind-body principles that the Health Triangle uses is based on the pioneering work of Greg Neville (ND) and Dr Roozbeh Malekzadeh (MD).

At Health Triangle, counselling is available for many physical health conditions to help clients create a balanced and coherent state between their mentally held life views and the health and well-being of their physical bodies, especially when clients confront unwelcomed illnesses.

The list of health issues that Mind-Body counselling can address may range from those commonly regarded as psychological or life issues such as low self-confidence with no obvious

physical symptoms (e.g. fight and flight), to those with measurable physical irregularities such as psychogenic Epilepsy, chronic fatigue or cancer. Our services provide insights into the following health conditions:

  • Cancer
  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
  • Eating Disorders, Anorexia & Bulimia
  • Irritable Bowls Syndrome (IBS)
  • Psychogenic Epilepsy
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Hypo/Hyperthyroidism
  • Psoriasis & Eczema
  • Diabetes

How Does Mind-Body Counselling Work

Through a combination of counselling, and hypnotherapy you shall holistically benefit by:

  • Learning how your health concerns relate to your thoughts and mental views on life.
  • Learning the psychological triggers of your specific health condition.
  • Increase your understanding of new ways of thinking that can relinquish your psychological stress.
  • Improve your health condition by thinking and behaving differently.
