Dr Niloufar Khajehddin is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 24 years of clinical and academic expertise in psychiatry. She began her medical career in 1999 and has worked in psychiatry since 2001. Prior to relocating to Australia, she served as both a Consultant Psychiatrist and an Assistant Professor at a leading university in Iran, where she combined patient care with the teaching and supervision of future psychiatrists.
Since moving to Melbourne in 2013, Niloufar has continued her work in adult psychiatry across both public and private sectors. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and provides care to adults aged 18 to 59 years old. She is fluent in English and Farsi, enabling her to deliver culturally sensitive and accessible psychiatric support to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

She has extensive experience in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic illnesses, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder in adults. Niloufar works closely with her clients to co-develop treatment plans that may involve psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and medication management. Her focus is on empowering clients to achieve sustainable recovery, improved emotional well-being, and a stronger sense of self.
In addition to her clinical practice, Niloufar has a strong interest in professional development and continues to engage in lifelong learning, ensuring her clients benefit from the most up-to-date and effective psychiatric care.
